A new period of the CSOF’s development started on September 20, 1994 whenb the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR) and the Consortium of forieng oil companies singed a contract on joint development and production sharing of the Azeri, Chirag and deep water part of Guneshli oil fields in Azerbaijan sector of the Caspian Sea. The Contract laid the basis sovereign Azerbaijan;s Oil Strategy, which became to be known in international scale as the “Constract of the Centry’.
 

       For the purpose of carrying out marine and diving services in the level of western standards, the Alliance Contracts have been signed with foreign companies specialized in this field. Thus, CSOF/Tidewater, CSOF/BYUE Caspian, SOCAR/KMS and SOCAR/Saipem Alliances offer marine and diving services to contractors and operation companies representing the contractors, working on various contracts on survey and development of oil and gas deposits and perspective structures located in the Azerbaijan sector of the Caspian Sea.

-         Transportation and installation of the compressor/ water-supply units and Merkezi Azeri offshore platform.

-         Transportation and installation of the Merkezi Azeri offshore platform’s superstructure.

-         Laying of 30-inch oil/ 28-inch gas pipelines 185 km long.

 

 

-         Servicing of Dede Gorgud and Istiglal floating drilling units

 

 

 

       Servicing of Dede Gorgud, Istiglal, Gurutlush and Heydar Aliyev floating dirlling units carrying out exploration / drilling operations at Karabakh, Dan Ulduzu-Ashrafi, Lankaran Deniz-Talish Deniz, Apsheron, Atashgah, Nakhchivan, Yalama on demand of AGIP, BP, ELF, SHEVRON, JAPEX, EXXON, LUKOIL.

 

 

       In the nearest future the 15 000 tonnage Yusif Ismayilov floating dock and its infrastructure are to be made use of in the construction and putting into operation the compressor stations and water supply platforms, the platforms of Central Azeri (CA), Western Azeri (WA), Eastern Azeri (EA), Guneshli (to be built on the deep water part) and TPC-500 (Shahdeniz) as well as in laying the 30-inch and 187 km long and the 26-inch, 12-inch and 4-inch each subsea oil pipelines.

 

 

       The CSOF Administration attaches great important to the cooperation with other companies functioning in other sectors of the Caspian Sea. The vessels of the fleet perform the orders on the Iranian, Turkmen, Kazakh and Russian sectors of the Caspian.
